Schneider Electric has partnered with One Hyd Park in Hyderabad to deploy advanced smart home automation systems across the residential project, marking another step in the growing adoption of connected living solutions in India’s premium housing segment.

The collaboration focuses on improving comfort, energy efficiency and convenience for residents through integrated automation technologies. The systems installed at the project include intelligent lighting controls with DALI dimming, scene based controls, curtain motor automation, VRV and VRAC control systems, touch displays, relays, sensors and energy management solutions.

According to Schneider Electric, the automation solutions have been deployed across apartments, corridors, common areas and the clubhouse. The company said the integrated systems are expected to enable around 20 percent energy savings at the project, while also improving operational efficiency and user experience.

The development comes at a time when demand for smart homes is rising in major Indian cities, driven by homebuyers seeking better convenience, security, sustainability and long term energy performance. Residential developers are increasingly looking at automation platforms that can integrate lighting, climate control, curtains, sensors and shared infrastructure into one connected ecosystem.

Schneider Electric said open and scalable platforms are becoming important in modern residential design, especially as homeowners expect technology enabled spaces that are efficient and easy to manage. The company added that connected homes are now being shaped by automation, energy management and integrated digital systems.

HP Lakhani Associates Founder and Principal Designer Haresh Lakhani said the project used Schneider Electric’s SpaceLogic KNX system to create adaptive and responsive home environments. EDOMOTICS Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ganesh Vudutha said the project brought lighting, climate control and curtain automation together within a connected ecosystem.

Schneider Electric also said homeowner demand led to the extension of automation systems beyond apartments to the clubhouse and shared community areas. The collaboration highlights how smart technologies are becoming an important part of residential real estate projects, particularly in urban markets such as Hyderabad where premium housing demand continues to evolve.
