Chennai-based WorkEZ has strengthened its position in the managed workspace segment by expanding its portfolio to nearly 17 lakh square feet across South India. The latest expansion includes new developments in Chennai, Coimbatore and Kochi, reflecting the growing demand for flexible and managed office spaces among corporates, startups and emerging businesses.

The company currently operates across 12 active buildings and has two upcoming developments in the pipeline. As part of its latest growth phase, WorkEZ has added 65,000 square feet at Phoenix One National Park in Chennai, one of the city’s prominent commercial destinations.

In Coimbatore, the company has signed a new development agreement with Veeras Infra Pvt Ltd for approximately 4 lakh square feet. The expansion comes after the successful leasing and positive market response for the first phase of the project, which covered around 1 lakh square feet. The move highlights Coimbatore’s growing importance as an emerging commercial and technology hub in Tamil Nadu.

WorkEZ has also entered the Kochi market through a partnership with Lulu Developers, adding another 70,000 square feet to its managed workspace portfolio. Industry experts believe the company’s expansion strategy aligns with the increasing demand for high-quality office infrastructure across Tier I and Tier II cities in South India.

Sunil Reddy, Managing Director and Founder of WorkEZ, said the expansion to 17 lakh square feet reflects the confidence clients, landlords and partners have placed in the company. He added that the company remains focused on delivering premium managed workspaces in markets where business demand continues to evolve rapidly.

The managed workspace industry has witnessed significant growth in recent years as companies increasingly prefer flexible leasing models, modern amenities and scalable office solutions. With businesses focusing on operational efficiency and employee-centric work environments, demand for managed office spaces is expected to remain strong across key South Indian cities.
