Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories business has secured multiple large-value orders for premium real estate developments across Telangana, Maharashtra and Karnataka, strengthening its presence in India’s fast-growing urban infrastructure and construction sector.
According to the company, the contracts fall under its “large” category, which includes projects valued between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore. The new orders cover luxury residential towers, villas, hospitality infrastructure and associated construction works in key urban markets.
One of the major projects awarded to L&T involves the design and construction of a large residential development in Hyderabad, Telangana. The project will feature 10 high-rise residential towers rising up to 180 metres, with each tower comprising two basement levels and 55 floors. The development will also include two modern clubhouses and supporting lifestyle infrastructure.
In Maharashtra, the company has secured an order for the construction of a premium residential tower in Mumbai’s Worli locality. L&T will execute reinforced cement concrete shell-and-core works for the 260-metre-high structure, which will include five basement levels and 63 floors. The project further strengthens Mumbai’s luxury housing and skyline expansion trend.
Another order has been secured in Karnataka, where L&T will construct residential villas, a luxury hotel and related infrastructure facilities. The scope of work includes RCC shell-and-core construction along with finishing works.
L&T said its Buildings & Factories vertical continues to play a major role in executing engineering, procurement and construction projects across residential and commercial buildings, airports, hospitals, public infrastructure, industrial facilities and data centres.
Industry experts believe these large-scale project wins highlight sustained demand for premium real estate developments in major Indian cities. The fresh orders are also expected to support employment generation, infrastructure growth and urban development across the three states.
