Mumbai, November 3, 2026: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a fresh set of construction contracts covering residential and commercial developments in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, strengthening its order pipeline in India’s major urban real estate markets.
The company’s Residential, Commercial Buildings & Factories (RCF) business vertical has received multiple orders from a prestigious client for three major developments. The contracts fall under L&T’s significant order category, which covers projects valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore.
Mumbai will see the construction of nine high-rise residential towers, each comprising one basement and 50 floors. The scale of the development reflects the continued demand for large residential projects in the country’s financial capital, where developers are increasingly focusing on high-density housing to make better use of available urban land.
In Bengaluru, L&T has secured another residential construction contract involving nine towers. Each building will have three basement levels and 25 floors. The project adds to the company’s presence in one of India’s most active residential property markets, where demand for organised housing developments continues to support large-scale construction activity.
The third development is planned in Hyderabad, where the company will construct a premium commercial tower featuring five basement levels and 22 floors. The project adds a commercial real estate component to the latest group of contracts, alongside the two residential developments.
Apart from these new projects, L&T has also secured additional orders linked to some of its ongoing developments. The company has not disclosed the individual contract values, project timelines or the identity of the client.
The latest wins underline the scale of construction activity taking place across India’s leading metropolitan markets. Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad continue to attract investments in residential and commercial real estate, creating opportunities for large engineering and construction companies with the capacity to execute complex projects.
L&T’s RCF division undertakes engineering, procurement and construction work across residential buildings, commercial spaces, semiconductor facilities and industrial structures. Its portfolio also includes specialised facilities such as automobile plants and proving grounds.
The company’s wider business spans engineering and construction, manufacturing, products and services across multiple sectors and geographies. With these latest contracts, L&T adds to its building construction order book while reinforcing its position in India’s large-scale residential and commercial construction segment.
