Mango Hill Hotels is preparing for its next phase of expansion, with new properties planned across several Indian markets as the hospitality brand looks to build a wider portfolio covering leisure, pilgrimage and business destinations.

The hotel group currently operates in Chennai, Coimbatore, Kodaikanal, Ooty, Pondicherry, Velankanni and Yercaud. Its upcoming expansion will take the brand to Tiruvannamalai, Pune, Sriperumbudur and Trichy, while also increasing its presence in Kodaikanal.

The planned expansion comes as Mango Hill Hotels looks to diversify its presence across different types of travel destinations. The company said its upcoming properties are being planned based on the travel potential and individual characteristics of each market.

Mango Hill Hotels to Enter Pune and Sriperumbudur

Pune will mark a significant addition to Mango Hill Hotels’ portfolio as the company enters a major metropolitan and commercial market. The city offers a business-oriented hospitality environment alongside growing demand from other traveller segments.

The planned property in Sriperumbudur will give the brand a presence in an established business and industrial corridor. The location is expected to complement Mango Hill Hotels’ existing focus on destinations with strong travel activity.

The company is also planning properties in Tiruvannamalai and Trichy. Both markets will expand its presence in pilgrimage and leisure destinations, while the Kodaikanal expansion will strengthen its footprint in an existing market.

Focus on Diverse Hospitality Markets

Gayathiri OM, Executive Director, Mango Hill Hotels, said the company’s existing portfolio has provided experience across different destination categories. She said the next stage of growth will focus on creating a diversified portfolio across India.

The company said it intends to maintain a consistent brand approach while adapting individual properties to the requirements of their respective markets. This strategy will allow Mango Hill Hotels to operate across leisure, business and pilgrimage segments.

The expansion also reflects the company’s approach of evaluating destinations based on their travel potential rather than following a single hospitality format. By entering a mix of metropolitan, industrial, pilgrimage and leisure markets, Mango Hill Hotels is widening the geographical base of its operations.

With the upcoming properties, the company will add four new markets to its portfolio while expanding in Kodaikanal, marking a broader phase of growth for the hospitality brand.
