KONE India, a prominent player in the elevator and escalator industry, has unveiled its latest innovations: the KONE I MonoSpace® SMART, KONE I MiniSpace™ SMART, and KONE A MonoSpace® SMART. These state-of-the-art elevators, showcased at the International Sourcing Exposition for Elevators, integrate advanced safety features, digital connectivity, and energy efficiency, setting a new benchmark in urban mobility solutions.

The new range is fully compliant with updated IS 17900 safety standards, marking an industry first. Leveraging Programmable Electronic System in Safety-Related Applications for Lifts (PESSRAL) technology, these elevators offer fail-safe redundancy with dual-channel safety controllers for seamless operation. Enhanced safety measures include tamper-proof modules, robust door systems, and light curtains to prevent accidents.

Amit Gossain, Managing Director of KONE India, described the products as a significant step toward shaping sustainable and digitally connected cities. “Our SMART elevators redefine vertical mobility by combining unparalleled safety, sustainability, and digital innovation,” he said, emphasizing KONE’s commitment to future-ready urban solutions.

Designed for the needs of smart buildings, the SMART range boasts AI-powered 24/7 monitoring for predictive maintenance, reducing downtime and optimizing performance. These elevators also offer plug-and-play integration with systems like HVAC, security, and contactless calling. Certified cybersecurity protocols ensure data protection and system integrity.

Sustainability is central to the design, with features like Regenerative Drive technology that recycles up to 30% of energy and energy-efficient LED lighting saving up to 90% during idle periods. Low harmonic distortion further enhances operational efficiency while preserving building power networks.

The elevators also excel in design, offering customizable interiors inspired by nature. With 35 design themes, they cater to diverse architectural styles, ensuring seamless integration into modern and traditional spaces alike.

KONE’s new SMART elevator range underscores its vision of transforming urban spaces with technology-driven, sustainable mobility solutions.
