ACC Limited has started the financial year 2026-27 on a steady note, reporting resilient financial performance while continuing to strengthen its cement manufacturing network across India. The Adani Group-owned cement manufacturer reported revenue from operations of ₹5,808 crore during the April-June quarter, supported by stable demand, improved operational efficiencies and ongoing capacity expansion.

The company’s first-quarter performance reflects its continued focus on increasing production capabilities while maintaining cost efficiency amid changing market conditions. ACC has been investing in modern infrastructure and sustainable manufacturing practices to meet rising demand from India’s infrastructure, housing and commercial construction sectors.

One of the key developments during the quarter was the commencement of trial operations at the company’s new 2.4 million tonnes per annum cement grinding unit at Salai Banwa in Madhya Pradesh. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to strengthen ACC’s ability to serve customers across central India while improving supply chain efficiency.

In addition, ACC plans to commission another one million tonnes per annum cement grinding capacity at its Kalamboli facility in Maharashtra during FY2026-27. The expansion is expected to enhance the company’s presence in western India and support increasing cement demand driven by public infrastructure projects and urban development.

The company also continued to improve operational performance by focusing on higher plant utilisation, logistics optimisation and digital initiatives across its manufacturing operations. These measures have helped ACC maintain operational resilience despite fluctuations in input costs.

India’s cement industry continues to benefit from sustained government investment in highways, railways, industrial corridors and affordable housing projects. With multiple infrastructure projects progressing across the country, cement demand is expected to remain healthy over the coming years.

By expanding its manufacturing footprint and strengthening production capacity, ACC aims to improve product availability, reduce delivery timelines and enhance customer service across key regional markets. The latest capacity additions underline the company’s long-term strategy of supporting India’s infrastructure growth while maintaining operational excellence.
