Mahindra Logistics has reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, reflecting steady growth across its integrated logistics and mobility businesses. The company posted consolidated revenue of ₹2,003 crore during the April-June quarter, marking a 23% year-on-year increase, while profitability continued to improve with a profit after tax of ₹25.4 crore.

The latest results underline the company’s continued recovery and its focus on expanding high-growth logistics segments amid rising demand from manufacturing, retail, e-commerce and business-to-business customers.

One of the biggest contributors to growth was the contract logistics business, which recorded a 26% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year. The segment also delivered a 31% rise in EBITDA, supported by better operating efficiencies, disciplined cost management and improved customer profitability.

The company’s express logistics business also maintained strong momentum, registering 58% year-on-year growth. Higher shipment volumes and improved pricing helped the business deliver EBITDA growth for the fourth consecutive quarter, highlighting the progress of its operational turnaround.

Mahindra Logistics also witnessed healthy expansion in its mobility business, which grew 38% during the quarter, driven by new customer additions in the business-to-business segment. At the same time, the company’s warehousing network continued to expand, with warehouse space under management increasing to 21.9 million square feet after the addition of new customer-specific facilities.

The company noted that its e-commerce and quick commerce logistics operations continued to scale as demand for faster fulfilment and last-mile delivery services remained strong. Although the last-mile delivery business reported lower revenue due to portfolio restructuring, profitability improved significantly as the company focused on serving higher-value customers.

Commenting on the performance, Managing Director and CEO Hemant Sikka said the company is transitioning from a transformation phase into a sustained growth journey. He attributed the strong quarterly performance to disciplined execution, operational excellence, new customer acquisitions and technology-led logistics solutions.

With continued investments in integrated supply chain infrastructure, digital capabilities and warehouse expansion, Mahindra Logistics is positioning itself to capitalise on India’s growing logistics market. The company’s diversified business portfolio and improving financial performance indicate a positive outlook as demand across manufacturing and commerce sectors continues to strengthen.
