TASE Global strengthens aerospace manufacturing with new Sriperumbudur facility

Chennai-based Trusted Aerospace Engineering, widely known as TASE Global, has taken a significant step in strengthening India’s precision manufacturing ecosystem with the inauguration of its new advanced machining facility at Sriperumbudur near Chennai. The Rs 150 crore unit is designed to cater to global aerospace and high end industrial customers, underlining Tamil Nadu’s growing importance as a manufacturing hub for export oriented industries.

The new facility was inaugurated by Masahiko Mori, President of Japanese technical partner DMG Mori, marking another milestone in the long standing collaboration between the two companies. The plant is equipped with high precision machining capabilities that meet stringent global aerospace standards, enabling TASE Global to expand its engagement with leading international clients.

As part of its broader growth strategy, TASE Global has announced plans to invest an additional Rs 100 crore over the next year. Of this, around Rs 40 crore will be allocated to setting up a state of the art surface treatment facility with zero liquid discharge, which is expected to become operational by April. This move aligns with the company’s focus on sustainable manufacturing practices while meeting global compliance norms.

The remaining Rs 60 crore will be invested in creating a cleanroom facility along with specialised machinery aimed at serving the semiconductor equipment industry. This unit is scheduled to commence operations by December, positioning TASE Global to tap into the rapidly expanding semiconductor supply chain.

The Sriperumbudur plant is expected to generate employment for nearly 250 people, contributing to local economic development. The unit will primarily serve export markets, with Europe identified as a key focus region. TASE Global is already working with major aerospace players such as Dassault Aviation and Boeing, further strengthening its global footprint.

Over the next three years, the company expects the new facility to generate revenues of up to Rs 300 crore. With this expansion, TASE Global continues to reinforce Chennai and its industrial corridors as preferred destinations for advanced manufacturing, aerospace engineering, and future ready technologies.
