Horizon Industrial Parks has officially broken ground on its newest logistics and industrial development, Horizon Industrial Park Oragadam II, further strengthening its footprint in Chennai, one of India’s most prominent manufacturing and industrial destinations.

Spread across nearly 97 acres, the upcoming project will deliver approximately 2.35 million sq. ft. of Grade A industrial and warehousing space. Strategically located along the Oragadam–Wallajabad Bypass, the park is designed to cater to the growing requirements of manufacturing, logistics and supply chain companies looking for high-quality industrial infrastructure in South India.

The development enjoys a prime location close to Oragadam, one of South Asia’s largest industrial hubs. It offers seamless connectivity to major highways, Chennai Port, Kattupalli Port, Chennai International Airport and key manufacturing clusters including Oragadam, Sriperumbudur, Sunguvarchatram and Cheyyar SIPCOT. This strategic positioning will enable businesses to improve distribution efficiency while reducing transportation and operational costs.

Horizon Industrial Park Oragadam II is expected to attract companies from the automotive, electronics, engineering, e-commerce, logistics and allied manufacturing sectors. The park has been planned with modern industrial specifications that support efficient operations, scalable expansion and sustainable business growth.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Dr. Rajkumar and R. Vignesh of Shri Kailash Industrial and Logistics Parks, along with customers, partners and industry stakeholders who joined in commemorating the milestone. The collaboration reflects the growing demand for institutional Grade A industrial parks in Tamil Nadu, driven by increasing domestic manufacturing, export-oriented industries and global supply chain diversification.

Tamil Nadu continues to witness strong momentum in industrial investments, supported by robust infrastructure, skilled manpower and proactive government policies. Chennai, in particular, has emerged as a preferred destination for global manufacturers establishing production facilities and warehousing operations.

With Horizon Industrial Park Oragadam II, Horizon Industrial Parks is further expanding its portfolio of world-class industrial assets while supporting India’s manufacturing and logistics ecosystem. Once operational, the development is expected to enhance industrial capacity, strengthen regional supply chains and contribute to the long-term economic growth of the Chennai-Oragadam industrial corridor.
