Hilton has signed agreements with Bengaluru-based Kalyani Group to develop two hotels near Kempegowda International Airport, adding 600 rooms and more than 72,000 sq. ft. of event space to the city’s hospitality market. The properties, Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport, are expected to open in 2030.

The two hotels will be developed as a cluster within the KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park, an emerging location for business, technology, aerospace and commercial activity. Each property will have 300 guest rooms, alongside dining venues, meeting facilities, wellness amenities and spaces for corporate and social events.

Located approximately 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport, the development is positioned to serve business travellers, corporate groups and event organisers. Its combined event space of more than 72,000 sq. ft. could also support demand for conferences, exhibitions, corporate gatherings and large social functions.

Hilton Expands Its Bengaluru Portfolio

The agreement marks Hilton’s second Conrad property and fourth Hilton-branded hotel in Bengaluru. It also extends the company’s partnership with Kalyani Group, following the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield in 2024.

Conrad is Hilton’s luxury hotel brand, while Hilton Hotels & Resorts operates in the full-service segment, catering to both business and leisure travellers. Bringing the two brands together at one location will allow the development to serve different customer segments within Bengaluru’s growing hospitality market.

Hilton has identified India as a key growth market, with plans to exceed 400 hotels across the country over the next decade. The company already operates properties in several major destinations, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurugram, Jaipur and Goa, while additional hotels remain under development.

Defence and Aerospace Park Could Support Demand

The location within the KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park places the proposed hotels close to an expanding business and industrial ecosystem. The combination of accommodation, meeting facilities and event infrastructure is intended to serve companies, visiting professionals and organisations hosting business events.

For Kalyani Group, the project builds on its existing hospitality partnership with Hilton and expands its presence in Bengaluru. The group has described the development as part of its longer-term commitment to the city’s hospitality sector.

The investment value and financial terms of the agreements have not been disclosed. Both hotels are expected to open in 2030, adding a combined 600 rooms to Bengaluru’s hospitality supply.
