NCC Secures Major Telangana Road Infrastructure Contract

NCC Limited has secured a ₹1,286.03 crore contract for the construction of Radial Road-2 in Telangana, adding another major road infrastructure project to its order book. The contract has been awarded by Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL), with the work scheduled to be completed within 18 months from commencement.

The project will cover the stretch from the Outer Ring Road near Budwel to Nacharam on National Highway 167N (NH-167N). The road is expected to strengthen connectivity across the designated corridor and support the development of Telangana’s expanding road infrastructure network.

The contract value of ₹1,286.03 crore excludes the Goods and Services Tax (GST), according to the available project details.

Connectivity Corridor in Focus

Radial roads play an important role in linking major urban corridors with surrounding areas and established highway networks. The proposed Radial Road-2 project will connect the Outer Ring Road near Budwel with Nacharam, providing an additional road link along this section of Telangana.

For infrastructure contractors, projects of this scale typically involve coordinated planning, resource mobilisation and execution within defined timelines. NCC will have an 18-month construction window for the project, making timely implementation a key factor in completing the work as scheduled.

The contract adds to the company’s presence in the transportation infrastructure segment, where road development projects remain an important component of its business.

Addition to NCC’s Order Book

The new award comes as NCC continues to secure infrastructure contracts across multiple sectors. The company reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹5,812.48 crore in the first quarter of Financial Year 2026–27, compared with ₹5,178.99 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, according to the figures cited by SAHI Markets.

NCC also reported consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of ₹216.4 crore for the quarter.

The Radial Road-2 contract provides additional project execution visibility over the coming months. However, its contribution to revenue and profitability will depend on construction progress, project costs and the timing of execution.

With an 18-month completion schedule, the focus will now be on mobilising resources and delivering the Telangana road project within the stipulated timeframe.
