Construction materials startup Fixxly has raised $5.5 million (₹52.6 crore) in a seed funding round led by Accel, Fireside Ventures and Lightspeed India Partners, as it prepares to enter India’s rapidly expanding quick commerce sector.
The Bengaluru-bound startup plans to commercially launch its services on September 1, 2026, offering 30-minute deliveries of essential construction materials through an AI-powered supply network. Initially, the platform will serve customers in Bengaluru before expanding into other major Indian cities.
Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is focused on solving one of the biggest challenges in the construction industry—urgent procurement of building materials. Contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, interior designers and homeowners often face project delays because construction supplies are traditionally sourced through fragmented dealer networks that typically operate on planned or next-day deliveries.
Fixxly aims to change this model by using artificial intelligence to match customer orders with real-time inventory, nearby fulfilment centres and local demand patterns. The company will stock products including plywood, paints, electrical supplies, lighting products, plumbing materials and hardware across strategically located dark stores, enabling faster deliveries directly to construction sites.
The newly raised capital will primarily be used to strengthen the company’s technology platform, expand its operational network and establish its initial delivery infrastructure ahead of the official launch.
The startup enters the market at a time when India’s quick commerce industry is witnessing rapid diversification beyond groceries. Fast delivery models are increasingly being adopted for electronics, healthcare products, home improvement items and construction materials as customer expectations shift towards immediate fulfilment.
Industry estimates suggest India’s quick commerce market could expand from $8.3 billion in 2026 to nearly $68 billion by 2031, driven by growing urban demand and technological advancements. Fixxly believes the construction materials segment represents a significant opportunity, where faster procurement can directly improve project execution, reduce downtime and enhance productivity for professionals working across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.
With strong investor backing and an AI-driven logistics model, Fixxly is positioning itself to modernise construction material procurement while bringing quick commerce convenience to India’s building and home improvement ecosystem.
