The Hiranandani Group is gearing up for a significant expansion in Tamil Nadu as it places Oragadam at the heart of its next phase of growth. Backed by a rising demand for integrated industrial and residential ecosystems, the company has announced plans to invest more than ₹1,000 crore across new townships, industrial parks and advanced Grade-A warehousing facilities.
This marks one of the company’s most ambitious commitments in the state. Hiranandani Group is also evaluating collaborative development opportunities with landowners in and around Chennai. These partnerships are expected to accelerate the rollout of large-format industrial and logistics clusters at a time when the warehousing sector is rapidly shifting toward automation, AI-enabled operations and high-efficiency infrastructure models.
The Group’s township-led development strategy remains central to this expansion. Its model typically integrates residential zones with built-to-suit industrial units, healthcare institutions, education facilities, sports amenities and community infrastructure. This approach is already visible in Hiranandani Parks, a landmark 400-acre township in Oragadam where the company has invested nearly ₹4,000 crore to date. The upcoming phase of development is expected to build on this momentum by strengthening industrial activity and improving social infrastructure in the region.
Oragadam continues to emerge as one of South India’s fastest-growing manufacturing belts, supported by strong road, port and airport connectivity. Industries such as electric vehicles, electronics, renewable energy and data centres are increasingly setting up operations in the region, creating sustained demand for high-quality industrial and logistics spaces. According to the company’s leadership, this tri-modal connectivity has transformed Oragadam into a diversified industrial cluster that goes far beyond its legacy as an automotive hub.
With Tamil Nadu maintaining its position as a leading destination for industrial investments, the Hiranandani Group’s renewed focus on Oragadam is expected to play a key role in shaping the state’s next chapter of infrastructure and economic growth.
