Bull Machines Inaugurates Backhoe Production in Coimbatore, Setting Ambitious Revenue Target

At 42, K Karthik is on the verge of scaling up Bull Machines, a construction equipment manufacturer, to double its turnover and increase its annual production capacity in one year. Coimbatore, India – Bull Machines, a construction equipment manufacturer, is set to significantly scale up, looking to almost double its turnover and increase annual production capacity in the next year.

The launch of the BS5-CEV Stage V-compliant backhoe loader was announced by the company on Friday to meet the stringent environmental regulations. Bull Machines Ltd Managing Director V. Parthiban, at the launch event in Coimbatore, shared details of his company’s aggressive growth plans.

Bull Machines aims for a top line of around ₹1,200 crore by the FY25 end and doubling this in FY26. The firm sells about 2,200 domestic vehicles and exports nearly 3,000 units a year. The company is expanding its manufacturing capacity with automation processes in Coimbatore, with an investment of ₹120 crore. This investment is in line with Bull Machines long-term vision to strengthen its foothold in domestic as well as international markets.

With increasing sales volumes, Bull Machines also aims to set up 400 authorized service centres across India in the next two years, thus providing better after-sales service to its customers. On the international side, the company aims to expand its distribution network and export to 100 countries (vs 65 countries currently). This will help Bull Machines become the second-biggest player in the backhoe loader space.

Moreover, Mr. Parthiban revealed Bull Machines as being expected to introduce a mini excavator in this festival season, consequent to the products witnessed in the Indian market.

These maneuvers will enable Bull Machines to capitalize on emerging opportunities within the expanding construction equipment sector, solidifying its status as a vital contributor to India’s infrastructure development.
