Canara Bank’s ₹349 Crore Annex Head Office Project in Bengaluru Moves to Tender Stage
NBCC has invited bids for the construction of Canara Bank’s additional head office building at Manyata Tech Park in Bengaluru, with the project estimated to cost ₹349.01 crore, including GST.
The proposed development is part of Canara Bank’s expansion of its office infrastructure in one of Bengaluru’s established technology and commercial districts. The tender covers a design-and-build construction package, giving the selected contractor responsibility for a wide range of building and associated works.
According to the tender details, the project is planned at Manyata Tech Park, Bengaluru, and has a construction completion period of 24 months. NBCC published the tender on September 21, 2026, with online bid submission scheduled to close on October 21, 2026. The technical bids are also scheduled to be opened on the same day.
The estimated cost put to tender is ₹349,00,95,900, inclusive of GST. The tender requires an earnest money deposit of ₹3.49 crore. The financial bid opening date will be communicated separately.
The scope of the project extends beyond the core construction of the building. It includes civil and structural works, architectural and finishing works, interiors, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, façade works, elevators, fire-fighting systems and fire alarms.
The package also covers information technology infrastructure, CCTV, signage, solar power, water supply and drainage, as well as landscaping and other concessionaire-related works. The contractor will also be required to validate the tender drawings against Canara Bank’s requirements and further develop the design to meet the required performance and quality standards.
The tender follows a design-and-build approach, placing responsibility for both construction and further design development with the successful contractor. This is expected to cover the building’s functional, structural and engineering requirements through the execution period.
A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for September 28 at NBCC Bhawan in New Delhi. The successful bidder will be required to sign the agreement within 30 days of the letter of award, while work commencement will be reckoned from the 10th day after the letter of award is issued.
The project will add another major commercial construction development to Bengaluru’s Manyata Tech Park corridor, which hosts a significant concentration of technology and corporate offices.
With a ₹349 crore estimated value and a 24-month construction timeline, the Canara Bank annex head office project is now moving into the bidding and contractor selection stage.
