CapitaLand will spend Rs. 450 crores in IT Park Development in Hyderabad

The CapitaLand Group is one of the world’s largest real estate investment and development organizations, and it has decided to invest Rs 450 crore in building a one-million-square-foot project.

IT Park at Hyderabad. In this regard, the company aims at meeting the current demand for premier office spaces created by global capability centers (GCCs) as well as giant multinational companies.

The decision to invest was made public during a conference in Singapore, where Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu, state officials, and CapitaLand executives were in attendance, including the CEO and Executive Director of CapitaLand India Trust Management, Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam. The Chief Minister has welcomed the investment, highlighting this as an important step for the city’s business ecosystem.

CapitaLand has already penetrated Hyderabad’s real estate domain to a certain extent with three significant business parks in its kitty and functional at the moment: International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH), aVance Hyderabad, and CyberPearl. The newest IT park is now a part of its expanding basket of projects across the city that testify to the firm’s role in the further economic development of Hyderabad.

Apart from the IT park, CapitaLand is going to commission a 25 MW IT load data center in Hyderabad. It is likely to come into operation by mid-2025. Besides, the company will start the redevelopment work at ITPH’s second phase by the end of this year and is expected to be completed by 2028.

In such investments, the company looks to play a lead role in infusing infrastructure within Hyderabad, developing its appeal for tech and business operations as well as serving as one of the best hubs for international corporations seeking high-quality office space and data center solutions.
