Greenply Industries Limited has introduced XPro, a new veneer range under its Woodcrest brand, targeting the growing demand for coordinated finishes in premium homes, residential developments and corporate interiors.

The range combines the natural appearance and texture of wood with consistent patterns that can be replicated across different surfaces. It is designed to help architects, interior designers and homeowners maintain a uniform visual theme across spaces, including wardrobes, doors, furniture and wall panelling.

The launch comes as India’s home interiors market continues to expand, supported by premium housing projects, integrated townships and changing consumer preferences. The market is estimated to be growing at an annual rate of 8% to 13%, while premium households are increasingly allocating a larger share of their property value to interior design.

Industry preferences are also shifting towards understated finishes and natural-looking materials, often associated with the concept of quiet luxury. Homeowners are looking for interiors that balance appearance, durability and long-term value, while greater access to online design inspiration is influencing purchasing decisions.

For large residential developments, consistency across individual homes has become an important consideration. Developers and design professionals often need finishes that can be carried across multiple apartments without significant variations in appearance. Similar requirements apply to corporate spaces, where reception areas, workstations and common areas are expected to follow a unified design language.

XPro has been developed to address these requirements through a range of wood-inspired patterns suitable for different interior styles. Its applications include wardrobes, doors, furniture, feature walls and wall panelling, as well as selected areas within offices and commercial spaces.

Commenting on the launch, Sanidhya Mittal, Joint Managing Director of Greenply Industries Limited, said the company had observed a shift in how premium homes were being designed, with homeowners placing greater emphasis on interior finishes. He also highlighted the need for consistent designs across larger residential projects and the growing role of digital platforms in shaping consumer preferences.

Positioned in the mid-premium segment, XPro expands Greenply’s Woodcrest portfolio as demand for coordinated interior solutions develops across residential and corporate projects. The range is aimed at architects, interior designers, dealers and homeowners seeking wood-inspired finishes for contemporary spaces.

The launch reflects the wider emphasis on design consistency and material selection in India’s evolving interiors market, particularly as premium residential developments continue to shape demand for interior products.
