TransIndia Enters Chennai with Ultra-Luxury Residential Project in Anna Nagar

Mumbai-based real estate developer TransIndia has entered Chennai’s residential property market with TransIndia Grandeur, an ultra-luxury housing project in Anna Nagar. The launch marks the company’s expansion into one of the city’s established residential neighbourhoods, where redevelopment is emerging as an avenue for introducing premium housing.

The company plans to focus its Chennai strategy on redevelopment opportunities in established locations. With large land parcels becoming increasingly difficult to find in mature neighbourhoods, developers are looking at ways to introduce new residential projects within existing urban areas.

Three- and Four-Bedroom Homes

TransIndia Grandeur will offer spacious three- and four-bedroom residences aimed at established families and homebuyers seeking larger living spaces and upgraded amenities. The project is located along the Anna Nagar–Poonamallee High Road corridor, providing access to an established residential and social infrastructure network.

The development is planned across two wings, A and B, in a ground-plus-11-floor configuration. Each floor will have four residences served by four high-speed elevators, according to the project details.

The homes are designed to include spacious decks, while the project is positioned to offer panoramic river and city views. The development will also feature a grand double-height lobby, a driveway and concierge services.

More Than 15 Lifestyle Amenities

The project’s planned amenities include an infinity swimming pool, golf simulator, gaming arena, indoor games room, sports court, walking track and a dedicated yoga and meditation area. A rooftop swimming pool is also planned as part of the development.

The range of facilities reflects the project’s focus on buyers looking for lifestyle amenities alongside residential space. However, the final delivery and availability of these features will depend on the project’s execution.

Construction Underway Ahead of Formal Launch

Construction activity began before the project’s formal launch. Piling work has been completed, while excavation at the rear of the site is underway. The development is expected to be completed in approximately two-and-a-half years from launch.

Rajendra M Rajan, founder of TransIndia Group, said the project reflects the company’s intention to bring premium residences to Chennai. He also indicated that its broader project pipeline points to a long-term commitment to the city.

TransIndia Grandeur’s progress will be watched as the developer establishes its presence in Chennai. Its focus on an established neighbourhood and redevelopment opportunities places the project within a segment of the market targeting buyers seeking spacious homes and premium residential amenities.
