Chennai-based Sameera Group is set to step up its residential expansion in Tamil Nadu with a planned investment of ₹300 crore across 10 projects in 10 districts.
The company will launch the developments over a 10-day period from August 23 to September 1, covering a mix of plotted developments and villa projects. The move comes as the group looks to strengthen its presence beyond Chennai and tap into residential demand across a wider range of Tamil Nadu markets.
M Sandeep Kumar, Managing Director of Sameera Lands and Construction, said the projects will be introduced across Trichy, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Ranipet, Kanchipuram, Chennai, Krishnagiri, Tiruvannamalai and Chengalpattu.
The geographical spread gives the group a presence across several major urban and emerging residential markets in the state. While Chennai and its surrounding districts continue to see strong real estate activity, cities such as Trichy, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Vellore have also been attracting growing interest from homebuyers and property investors.
The planned projects will include both plots and villas, giving prospective buyers different options depending on their budgets and preferences. The company has not disclosed project-wise investment details or the individual sizes of the developments.
Sameera Group’s latest expansion reflects the increasing focus among real estate developers on regional markets in Tamil Nadu. As infrastructure improves and employment opportunities expand across tier two cities, demand for organised residential developments is gaining momentum.
For the group, launching 10 projects within a short period represents a significant expansion exercise. It also signals an effort to build a broader residential portfolio rather than concentrating its activity in a single city or region.
With the launches scheduled to begin from August 23, the coming days are expected to provide more details on individual project locations, configurations and pricing.
The ₹300 crore investment marks a notable step in Sameera Group’s Tamil Nadu growth plans and could further strengthen its position in the state’s competitive residential real estate market.
