Eicher Motors leases 3.92 lakh sq ft industrial space in Sriperumbudur to strengthen supply chain

Eicher Motors Limited has strengthened its logistics network in South India by leasing 3.92 lakh square feet of industrial space at Casagrand Industrial Park in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. The seven-year lease marks another significant step in the company’s long-term supply chain strategy as demand for premium motorcycles and aftermarket services continues to grow across domestic and international markets.

According to property documents accessed by Propstack, the industrial facility has been leased from Casagrand Blue Horizon Private Limited at a monthly rental of nearly ₹82.45 lakh. The lease is scheduled to commence on August 31, while rental payments will begin from May 2027. The agreement also includes a security deposit of ₹5.24 crore and provides for a 3.5% annual escalation in rent and maintenance charges after the completion of the first two years.

The leased facility is expected to support Eicher Motors’ automotive logistics operations, particularly the consolidation and distribution of Royal Enfield spare parts and components. Located in Sriperumbudur, one of India’s fastest-growing manufacturing clusters, the industrial park offers strategic connectivity to automotive production hubs, ports and national highways, making it an ideal location for large-scale warehousing and distribution activities.

Sriperumbudur has emerged as a preferred destination for automotive, electronics and engineering companies due to its well-developed industrial ecosystem and expanding logistics infrastructure. The region continues to attract significant investments from both domestic and global manufacturers seeking Grade A industrial and warehousing facilities.
