Hilton has officially launched its Spark by Hilton brand in the Asia Pacific region with the opening of its first two properties in Bengaluru and Goa, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy in India.

The launch represents Spark by Hilton’s debut in Asia Pacific and highlights the growing importance of India within Hilton’s global growth plans. The new hotels, Spark by Hilton Bengaluru and Spark by Hilton Goa Calangute, have been introduced through a strategic partnership with Olive Hospitality. Under this collaboration, the partners aim to establish 150 Spark by Hilton hotels across India in the coming years.

Introduced globally in 2023, Spark by Hilton is positioned as the company’s premium economy hospitality brand. The concept is designed to serve travelers seeking comfortable accommodation, reliable service and essential amenities at affordable price points. Since its global launch, the brand has witnessed rapid expansion, operating more than 240 hotels worldwide while maintaining a strong development pipeline of nearly 230 additional properties.

The Bengaluru property features 82 rooms, while the Goa Calangute hotel offers 64 rooms. Both hotels have been developed to cater to a wide range of guests, including business travelers, domestic tourists and value-conscious visitors looking for quality hospitality backed by an internationally recognized brand.

According to Hilton, the Indian hospitality market continues to present significant growth opportunities due to rising domestic tourism, increasing business travel and strong economic expansion. International hotel operators are actively strengthening their presence across major metropolitan cities, leisure destinations and emerging markets to capitalize on growing demand.

Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, stated that the launch of Spark by Hilton in India reflects the company’s commitment to offering hospitality products that meet evolving traveler expectations while maintaining Hilton’s global service standards.

The latest expansion further strengthens Hilton’s portfolio in India and underscores the company’s confidence in the country’s long-term hospitality growth potential. With plans to scale the Spark brand across multiple cities, Hilton is positioning itself to capture increasing demand from the rapidly growing mid-market and value hospitality segments.
