Fern Hotels Expands South India Presence with New Eco Resort in Kerala

Fern Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of The Fern Eco Bliss Resort Moolakada, Series by Marriott, marking another significant step in its expansion strategy across South India. The upcoming resort, scheduled to open in June 2027, will be developed in the picturesque destination of Moolakada in Kerala and will operate under The Fern Residency, Series by Marriott portfolio.

The new hospitality project reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening its presence in high-potential tourism and business destinations. With the addition of this property, Fern Hotels & Resorts will increase its portfolio in South India to 15 operational and upcoming hotels while taking its overall national footprint to 190 properties across India.

Designed to cater to both leisure and business travellers, The Fern Eco Bliss Resort Moolakada will feature 116 well-appointed rooms and suites. The property will offer modern amenities aimed at delivering a comfortable and premium guest experience in one of Kerala’s emerging tourism destinations.

The resort will include an all-day dining restaurant serving a variety of cuisines along with dedicated facilities for corporate meetings, conferences and social events. A modern conference room and a spacious banquet hall will allow the property to host business gatherings, destination events and celebrations.

Kerala continues to attract strong domestic and international tourist arrivals due to its natural beauty, wellness tourism offerings and growing hospitality infrastructure. The addition of a new resort in Moolakada is expected to support regional tourism growth while creating employment opportunities and strengthening the local hospitality ecosystem.
