Hong Kong-based Crown Worldwide Group has expanded its India operations with the launch of a new integrated facility in Coimbatore, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to one of its fastest growing global markets.

Developed across a 4.5-acre site, the new facility has been designed to support increasing demand for storage, logistics, information management and workplace asset solutions from businesses across India. The company said the project has been built with future scalability in mind as demand from manufacturing, corporate and industrial sectors continues to grow rapidly in South India.

The Coimbatore facility currently supports a Phase 1 capacity of more than 468,000 Standard Carton Equivalents. Crown Worldwide said the planned Phase 2 expansion will add another 45,000 sq ft, increasing the total capacity to nearly 720,000 SCE without affecting ongoing operations.

The facility will cater to multiple business divisions including Crown Relocations, Crown Workspace and the company’s Renew Centre, which focuses on refurbishing and reusing workplace assets. The site also integrates digital infrastructure and operational systems capable of handling large-scale information management requirements.

Jennifer Harvey, Group CEO of Crown Worldwide Group, said India continues to remain one of the company’s fastest growing markets due to rising infrastructure investments and expanding business activity. She added that the new facility will strengthen Crown’s ability to support clients with storage, digitalisation and information management solutions.

The company has also incorporated advanced safety and monitoring systems across the site. These include fire protection infrastructure aligned with Indian Standards, real-time building management systems and operational security measures to ensure business continuity and asset protection.

According to Crown Worldwide, the expansion aligns with increasing client demand across South India, particularly from sectors requiring secure storage, data management and integrated logistics support.
