Arihant Vayu, the premium Grade A commercial development by Arihant in Perungudi, Chennai, has achieved a major milestone with the receipt of its Completion Certificate (CC), signalling that the project is now fully ready for occupation.

Located along the strategically important OMR corridor, the project spans approximately 80,000 sq ft and is positioned to cater to the growing demand for high quality office and commercial spaces in Chennai’s IT and business hub. The development adds further momentum to the commercial real estate growth story unfolding across the Perungudi and Old Mahabalipuram Road belt.

The completion of the project is expected to attract occupiers from the IT, technology services, consulting, and enterprise sectors, given its location advantage and seamless access to the city’s key business districts. Perungudi continues to remain one of Chennai’s most preferred office destinations, supported by proximity to major corporate campuses, residential catchments, and urban infrastructure.

In addition to the Completion Certificate, the approach road connecting the main OMR stretch to the building has also been fully relaid and upgraded. This infrastructure enhancement is expected to improve connectivity and ensure smoother vehicular access to the site, adding to the overall asset value of the development.

The project milestone was shared by Jerry Shadrach, Vice President, Office Business at Arihant, who highlighted the readiness of the asset for occupation and the company’s focus on delivering infrastructure beyond the building itself.

With commercial leasing activity gradually picking up in Chennai’s office market, the completion of Arihant Vayu comes at a time when occupiers are increasingly seeking ready to move in Grade A spaces with strong connectivity and modern infrastructure. The project is likely to strengthen Perungudi’s position as a preferred commercial corridor within the larger OMR growth ecosystem.
