Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has received major orders ranging between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore in three key territories, namely Amaravati, Mumbai, and Muscat, thus further consolidating its order book of ₹5.64 lakh crore.

In Andhra Pradesh, the B&F division has contracted work from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for major infrastructure in Amaravati. The works include the design and construction of the Integrated Andhra Pradesh State Secretariat and HoD Offices (Towers 3 and 4), each of 39-story building. Apart from this, 21 residential towers with associated civil, electrical, HVAC, firefighting, and landscaping works shall be developed.

In Mumbai, L&T was engaged by a reputed real estate developer to construct two ultra-luxury residential towers, thus adding to the domestic order volume. The towers are proposed with a configuration of 1 basement + 1 ground + 5 podium + 59-floors to a height of about 200 meters. The current scope covers RCC shell and core works.

Internationally, L&T Oman acquired a repeat order in Muscat for high-end office infrastructure. The project comprises three office towers (G+8) placed on a two-level common basement. The contract includes structural, architectural, MEP, finishing works, and softscape and hardscape development around a central plaza.

Thus, its constant project wins signify an enlarged footprint for L&T in the Indian and Gulf construction markets.

On the financial front, as of 12:16 am IST on July 24, L&T stock traded at ₹3,469.50, down 0.44% intraday. Yet, over this period, L&T has gained 4.71% and over five years, 273%, underlining its strong position in the Large-Cap segment.

With these strategic wins, L&T continues in its quest to solidify its reputation as a key player in high-rise, large-scale urban infrastructure.
