Sri Venkatachalapathy Constructions has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a crucial water and sewerage project in Chennai. The Rs 129.20 crore project has been awarded by the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board under the Vada Chennai Valarchi Thittam initiative.

The project, classified under Package-IV, involves comprehensive upgrades to sewage pumping stations in Areas IV, V, and VI. It encompasses electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, civil structure enhancements, and associated works to ensure improved water management and sanitation infrastructure in the region.

This development signifies a critical step in bolstering Chennai’s urban infrastructure, particularly addressing the rising demands for efficient sewage systems.
