Welspun Tubular LLC, the US subsidiary of India’s Welspun Corporation, is set to invest $100 million to enhance its steel large-diameter line pipe manufacturing facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. The company plans to diversify its product range by producing large pipes with an outer diameter of 24 inches and wall thickness of 0.75 inches, using grades up to X80. The upgraded facility will have an annual production capacity of 350,000 metric tons.

The modernization aims to meet growing demand in infrastructure and energy sectors, with a focus on high-grade steel pipes. Production from the revamped facility is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with the upgrade project slated for completion by December 2025.

Welspun Tubular’s investment reflects its commitment to innovation and expansion in the global steel market. The company’s Arkansas plant is a critical hub for advanced pipe manufacturing, and the planned upgrade underscores its focus on catering to evolving market needs.

This move strengthens Welspun’s position as a leading player in steel pipe manufacturing while supporting the industrial growth of the region.
