Macrotech Developers has acquired a strategic interest in its Digital Infrastructure Platform, aligning with its plan for controlled growth in the industrial and logistics sectors under the Lodha Industrial and Logistics Park (LILP) brand. The deal involves the purchase of Bain Capital’s stakes in three entities: Bellissimo Digital Infrastructure Development Management, Palava Induslogic 4, and Bellissimo In City FC Mumbai 1.

The total transaction value is approximately Rs 307 crore. This includes a 30% stake in Bellissimo Digital Infrastructure Development Management for Rs 22 crore, set to complete within 30 days. Additionally, Macrotech will acquire 33.33% stakes in Palava Induslogic 4 for Rs 189.88 crore, and Bellissimo In City FC Mumbai 1 for Rs 95.12 crore. All acquisitions are structured as cash deals and will not require further regulatory approvals, with expected completion timelines spanning from 30 to 180 days.

This move follows Lodha’s recent acquisition of Ivanhoe Warehousing India Inc.’s stake in these same entities, reinforcing the company’s strategic push to diversify and enhance its annuity income streams in the growing digital infrastructure sector. The acquisition is part of Macrotech’s broader strategy to expand its portfolio, focusing on digital infrastructure as a critical growth area within its industrial and logistics business.

The acquisition marks a significant step for Macrotech as it strengthens its position in the digital infrastructure space, contributing to its long-term growth strategy and creating new opportunities for income generation.
