Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to launch a series of major infrastructure projects in Nalgonda on June 28, including the foundation stone laying for Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) road projects valued at nearly ₹13,000 crore. The initiative marks one of the state’s largest road infrastructure programmes aimed at improving regional connectivity and accelerating economic development.

According to the official schedule, the Chief Minister will travel by helicopter from Hyderabad and arrive at Kanagal mandal, where he will unveil a commemorative pylon for the HAM road projects at the Agricultural Market Committee (AMC) yard. The road programme is expected to enhance connectivity across several districts while supporting industrial growth, logistics efficiency and faster movement of people and goods.

Apart from road infrastructure, the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone for Phase-I of the drinking water supply project under the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation. The project has been planned to strengthen potable water infrastructure and meet the growing demand of the rapidly expanding municipality.

Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the HAM road initiative is a flagship infrastructure programme that will significantly improve transport connectivity and create long-term economic opportunities across Telangana. The projects are expected to generate employment during construction while supporting future investments in the region.

Following the project launch, the Chief Minister will address a public gathering at the NG College grounds in Nalgonda. During the event, he is expected to outline the government’s development roadmap and highlight key infrastructure and welfare initiatives being implemented across the state. Financial assistance cheques will also be distributed to members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) as part of the government’s social empowerment programmes.

With major investments in roads and urban utilities, Telangana continues to focus on expanding modern infrastructure to support economic growth, improve public services and strengthen regional connectivity through sustainable development initiatives.
