At the 2024 BAUMA-CONEXPO-INDIA, L&T and Komatsu launched the PC35MR-3 Mini Excavator: an advanced machine for catering to the increasing demands of construction and agriculture in India. The PC35MR-3 creates a mix of higher productivity while removing costs and manual labor. This is a potential game-changer for the sector. This compact machine, which has considerable tractive force, excellent reach, and high digging capacity, provides excellent performance in limited spaces. The wide-angled banding boom is fitted so that precision trenching and effective foundation digging can be performed even in tight corners or edges.

The purpose of this mini excavator is to promote fuel efficiency, low operational costs, and very high mobility, all accompanied by low noise and pollution levels. One of the most attractive properties of the PC35MR-3 is its cost-effectiveness. Its low maintenance lessens the total cost of ownership, making it a real benefit for trenching, foundation digging, utility installation, demolition, and other agricultural tasks.

Its versatility creates a new market for the PC35MR-3 to become a great resource for the rapidly growing infrastructure and urbanization sectors in India. Arvind K. Garg, Senior Vice President and Head – Construction & Mining Machinery, L&T, stressed that such multipurpose equipment would play an important role in meeting India’s infrastructure growth demands. The launch of the PC35MR-3 is a testimony to L&T’s steadfast commitment to providing advanced solutions to nourish productivity while setting the right course for creating paths for sustainable growth in the sector.
