Kalpataru Projects Adds ₹2,349 Crore to Infrastructure Order Pipeline

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has secured new domestic orders and notifications of awards worth approximately ₹2,349 crore, strengthening its order pipeline across India’s power transmission and building infrastructure segments. The latest contracts have pushed the company’s cumulative order inflows for the 2026–27 financial year beyond ₹22,000 crore.

The new orders cover power transmission and distribution projects, along with buildings and factories infrastructure. The wins reflect continued investment in electricity networks and industrial infrastructure, two areas that require extensive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capabilities.

For KPIL, the latest additions provide further visibility into its project execution pipeline as it pursues opportunities across domestic and international markets.

Power Infrastructure and Construction Drive Order Growth

Power transmission infrastructure remains an important part of India’s wider infrastructure development programme. Expanding electricity networks, connecting new generation capacity and strengthening grid infrastructure require substantial investment in transmission lines and associated systems.

KPIL’s latest order wins in this segment add to its existing portfolio of engineering and construction projects. Its buildings and factories business provides another avenue for growth, covering infrastructure requirements linked to industrial and commercial development.

The combination of power infrastructure and building projects gives the company exposure to multiple areas of capital expenditure. However, the pace at which new orders translate into revenue will depend on project execution schedules, customer requirements and the timely completion of contractual milestones.

FY27 Order Inflows Cross ₹22,000 Crore

Manish Mohnot, managing director and chief executive officer of KPIL, said the company continued to see strong momentum across its core power transmission and buildings and factories businesses.

He added that cumulative order inflows for FY2026–27 had crossed ₹22,000 crore, positioning the company for continued growth.

The latest announcement follows other order wins during October 2026, including contracts in power transmission and distribution. KPIL has also secured projects in international markets, reflecting its presence across multiple infrastructure segments.

Global Project Execution Supports Expansion

KPIL operates across engineering and construction activities, including power transmission, civil infrastructure, water and oil and gas pipelines. In the 2025–26 financial year, the company reported revenue of ₹27,143 crore and had more than 250 projects under execution across over 30 countries.

The expanding order pipeline provides opportunities to sustain project activity in the coming quarters. At the same time, execution efficiency, material costs, working capital requirements and project timelines will remain important factors influencing performance.

With its FY27 order inflows now exceeding ₹22,000 crore, KPIL enters the second half of the financial year with a larger pool of contracted and awarded work. Converting that pipeline into timely project delivery and revenue will be central to its next phase of growth.
