ITC Hotels is expanding its Fortune Hotels portfolio with two new properties in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and Mantralayam, Andhra Pradesh, as the hospitality company looks to deepen its presence in emerging travel destinations.
The agreements will add to Fortune Hotels growing network across India, with the two locations offering different demand drivers. While Saharanpur is an emerging urban and commercial centre, Mantralayam is a prominent pilgrimage destination that attracts visitors throughout the year.
Fortune Park Saharanpur is expected to open in December 2026. The brownfield property will have 60 rooms, along with an all-day dining restaurant, green lawns, banquet facilities and other guest amenities. The hotel is expected to cater to both business and leisure travellers visiting the city and surrounding areas.
In Mantralayam, ITC Hotels plans to open what is expected to be the town’s first branded hotel. Fortune Park Mantralayam will have 79 rooms and is scheduled to become operational during the fourth quarter of the 2026-27 financial year.
The property will include an all-day dining restaurant, modern banqueting facilities and other amenities aimed at improving the stay experience for visitors. Its location in a major pilgrimage town gives the hotel access to a steady base of religious and leisure travellers.
The expansion reflects Fortune Hotels’ strategy of moving beyond major metropolitan markets and establishing properties in Tier-II and Tier-III destinations. Such locations have increasingly gained attention from hotel operators as domestic travel expands and demand for organised accommodation grows.
Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels, said the new alliances would help expand the company’s presence across India while improving the stay experience for travellers.
The latest additions also highlight the changing nature of India’s hospitality market, where demand is increasingly spreading beyond traditional business hubs. Cities and towns with strong cultural, spiritual and regional economic activity are becoming important markets for branded hotel operators.
With Saharanpur and Mantralayam, Fortune Hotels is adding properties that are positioned around distinct travel ecosystems. The upcoming openings will further broaden the brand’s geographic footprint while giving travellers access to organised hospitality in two growing destinations.
