Fabex Steel Structures, a fast-growing name in the pre-engineered buildings and structural steel sector, has inaugurated its second state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Chityal, near Hyderabad. The new plant, established with an investment of ₹120 crore, spans 40 acres and significantly strengthens the company’s production capabilities. With the addition of 50,000 tonnes of annual production capacity, Fabex’s total output now stands at one lakh tonnes per year across its two units.
Founded six years ago, Fabex Steel Structures specializes in the design, detailing, fabrication, and installation of pre-engineered buildings and steel structures. The company’s existing plant in Vijayawada caters to both domestic and international markets, providing innovative solutions for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The newly inaugurated Chityal facility reinforces Fabex’s commitment to quality manufacturing and timely project delivery.
According to Venu Chava, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Fabex Steel Structures, the company plans to invest an additional ₹100 crore over the next two to three years. This investment will focus on automation, capacity expansion, and product diversification to meet growing market demand. The company currently employs around 400 people and intends to double its workforce to 800 as operations scale up.
Co-Founder and CEO I. V. Ramana Raju added that Fabex aims to achieve ₹1,000 crore in revenue within the next three years. The company’s growth strategy is backed by a strong client retention rate of nearly 70 per cent and an expanding global footprint.
With a turnover of ₹463 crore, Fabex Steel Structures continues to build its reputation as a trusted partner for large-scale infrastructure and industrial development projects. The company’s expansion reflects the increasing demand for pre-engineered and modular construction solutions across India, particularly in emerging industrial regions around Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh.
