ESR, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading real asset managers, has announced the acquisition of 85 acres in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, to develop a state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing park. The project, titled ESR Hosur Advanced Manufacturing Park, will involve an investment exceeding Rs 600 crore and span over 2.1 million sq. ft. of built-up area.
Strategically located in the Hosur–Shoolagiri industrial belt, the upcoming facility is designed to house ten modern industrial buildings catering to high-growth sectors such as advanced manufacturing, clean energy, electronics, aerospace, electric vehicles, and robotics. With direct access to key highways including NH-44, NH-844, and SH-91, the park offers excellent multimodal connectivity to Bengaluru, Chennai, and other major southern cities, making it a vital hub in South India’s fast-growing industrial corridor.
According to Abhijit Malkani, CEO of ESR India, this development underscores the company’s strong commitment to India’s expanding manufacturing landscape. He highlighted that ESR aims to empower innovation-driven industries through world-class infrastructure while supporting India’s “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives.
The Hosur project will be aligned with ESR’s ESG 2030 Roadmap, integrating sustainability-focused features such as green building standards, renewable energy adoption, and advanced digital management systems. These initiatives reinforce ESR’s dedication to environmental responsibility and long-term operational efficiency.
With this expansion, ESR continues to strengthen its footprint in South India, where industrial demand has been driven by robust manufacturing, logistics, and EV ecosystem growth. The Hosur Advanced Manufacturing Park is expected to attract both domestic and international companies seeking sustainable and technology-enabled industrial spaces.
Currently, ESR operates 24 sustainable industrial and logistics parks across India, catering to top global and Indian clients. The company’s latest project in Hosur reflects its strategic intent to enhance India’s industrial infrastructure while promoting responsible and innovation-led development.
