Brigade Group to Develop Luxury Homes and Senior Living in Mysuru, Eyes ₹300 Crore Revenue

In a first-ever Joint Development Agreement (JDA), Bengaluru-based real estate developer Brigade Group has announced the launch of a luxury residential project in Mysuru. On March 28, the company said the project is expected to generate revenue of ₹300 crore.

The project was announced a while back viz — the development will cover 4.5 lakh sq. ft. and include a variety of housing types, with 25% reserved for senior living and 75% for luxury apartments. The project fits Brigade’s long-term vision of strengthening its presence in focus markets like Mysuru.

“This land deal reinforces a significant milestone in our expansion roadmap,” said Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Group. “We are dedicated to designing residential spaces that are well considered for quality living and strong community building.”

Expansion Plans in Bengaluru

Brigade Group has been on a construction spree expanding its portfolio in Bengaluru. The company, in January, signed an agreement for a residential project on Whitefield-Hoskote Road, with a total development potential of ₹2,700 crore. The project, staggered over 20 acres, will provide 2.5 million sq. ft. of saleable area, at a land cost of₹630 crore estimated to be paid via its subsidiary Ananthay Properties Private Limited.

In Bengaluru, Brigade announced a ₹750-crore commercial development on Old Airport Road in August 2024. Covering 1.4 million sq. of leaseable space is projected to generate ₹100 crore of annual lease revenue.

The company also launched Brigade Insignia, a premium residential project in Yelahanka, in June 2024, which has a revenue potential of ₹1,100 crore. Encompassing 6 Towers with 379 Luxury Apartments, the property will feature 3, 4, and 5 BHK units and utilize approximately 6 Acres.

These strategic expansions further strengthen Brigade Group’s foothold in the real estate market of South India.
