Brigade Enterprises has unveiled Brigade Citrine, India’s first net-zero residential project, in Bengaluru. The project boasts an estimated gross development value (GDV) of Rs 500 crore.
Located on a 4.3-acre site in Budigere Cross, Whitefield, Brigade Citrine will offer 420 residential units, including 1, 2, 3, and 4 BHK homes. The development aligns with Brigade Group’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2045, according to Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises.
The project focuses on sustainable living, incorporating eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient designs, and water conservation measures. Renewable energy will power 100% of common area lighting, significantly reducing environmental impact while enhancing residents’ quality of life. Spanning a total development area of approximately 0.7 million sq. ft., the project showcases innovative strategies for carbon offsetting and sustainability.
Brigade Enterprises has ambitious expansion plans, with upcoming projects in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru slated for H2/FY25. The company is also preparing a 12-million-sq.-ft. development pipeline in Chennai, primarily targeting the mid-segment housing market.
With its pioneering approach to sustainability, Brigade Citrine is set to redefine residential living standards in India.
