Asian Paints has rolled out a new interior emulsion, Apcolite All Protek, aimed at raising the bar in premium wall coatings with its advanced Lotus Effect Technology, a feature inspired by the natural self-cleaning ability of lotus leaves.

Marketed as a super-premium offering, Apcolite All Protek is engineered to repel stains, resist flames, and enhance aesthetics all while promising long-term protection with a six-year performance warranty. Backed by a campaign fronted by brand ambassador Virat Kohli, the product is targeted at modern, high-activity Indian households.

“Stains from coffee, sauces, crayons, the usual suspects in any home don’t get a chance to settle,” said the company in a statement, referring to the paint’s stain-shedding surface, which mimics the natural hydrophobic properties of lotus leaves. The paint also comes with a pleasant fragrance and is available in two finishes: Matt and Shyne.
