TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks is planning to invest ₹1,000 crore in upcoming industrial and logistics projects across Tamil Nadu, as demand for modern warehousing and supply chain infrastructure continues to grow across the state.

The investment commitment was formalised through an initial pact signed with the Tamil Nadu government during the VETTRI Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026. According to the company, the planned projects are expected to create around 1,500 employment opportunities while adding to the state’s industrial and logistics infrastructure.

Tamil Nadu has emerged as an important market for TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks, with the company already operating 10 industrial and logistics parks across the state. These facilities serve businesses from sectors including e-commerce, automobiles, fast-moving consumer goods and consumer durables.

The company’s latest investment comes at a time when industrial activity is expanding beyond established manufacturing centres. New industrial clusters and emerging growth locations are creating demand for strategically located Grade-A warehousing and logistics facilities that can support manufacturers, retailers and supply chain operators.

Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director of TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks, said the company sees significant opportunities emerging across Tamil Nadu and intends to support businesses expanding their operations in the state.

The company said its upcoming investments are part of a broader strategy to expand its presence across high-growth industrial markets. Its focus will remain on developing technology-enabled infrastructure designed to meet the changing requirements of businesses and logistics operators.

The expansion also aligns with Tamil Nadu’s longer-term economic ambitions. The state has set a target of becoming a USD 1.5 trillion economy by 2036. The availability of modern industrial and logistics parks is expected to play an important role in supporting manufacturing capacity, improving supply chain efficiency and enabling businesses to expand into emerging industrial locations.

For TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks, the planned ₹1,000 crore investment will further strengthen its footprint in one of India’s key manufacturing states. The company expects its projects to support businesses across different stages of their expansion while contributing to the next phase of industrial growth in Tamil Nadu.
