Venus Pipes & Tubes has commenced commercial operations at its new fittings manufacturing facility while also expanding its seamless pipes and tubes production capacity. The development marks an important step in the company’s growth strategy as it strengthens both forward integration and backward integration capabilities.

In the latest phase, the company added 4,200 tonne per annum of seamless pipes and tubes capacity. With this addition, the total capacity added under the broader expansion programme has reached 6,000 tonne per annum, higher than the initially planned 4,800 tonne per annum. The expansion also includes the earlier commissioning of 1,800 tonne per annum capacity.

Along with the seamless pipes and tubes expansion, Venus Pipes has commissioned an equivalent capacity of mother hollow pipes. This move is expected to improve backward integration, support better raw material control and strengthen the company’s ability to serve customers with consistent product quality.

The newly operational fittings facility is a major part of Venus Pipes’ forward integration strategy. By entering higher value added product categories, the company aims to improve its product mix and capture stronger opportunities across domestic and international markets.

Venus Pipes said the expansion was undertaken in response to improving demand across industrial sectors. The company expects the enhanced capacity to support long term growth in power, oil and gas, chemicals, engineering, data centres and semiconductor manufacturing industries.

The expansion comes at a time when demand for specialised stainless steel pipes, tubes and fittings is rising across infrastructure linked and technology driven industries. With industries focusing on quality, durability and precision, companies with integrated manufacturing capabilities are expected to gain stronger market relevance.

Arun Kothari, Managing Director of Venus Pipes & Tubes, said the new capabilities would help the company enhance product offerings, improve value addition and strengthen its presence in both domestic and international markets.

The commissioning of the new facility and added seamless capacity positions Venus Pipes for the next phase of growth. With stronger manufacturing depth and a wider product portfolio, the company is aiming to serve evolving industrial requirements while improving operational efficiency and market access.
