Global industrial and logistics real estate developer ESR Group has officially broken ground on its Advanced Manufacturing Park in Hosur, marking a significant milestone in the rapidly expanding Bengaluru–Hosur industrial corridor. The development reflects growing investor confidence in South India’s manufacturing ecosystem and highlights the increasing importance of integrated industrial infrastructure in supporting India’s economic growth.
Spread across 84.46 acres, the ESR Hosur Advanced Manufacturing Park is designed to support next-generation manufacturing and supply chain operations. The project has a planned development potential of approximately 195,000 square metres and will include around ten Grade A industrial buildings. These facilities will offer both built-to-suit spaces and ready-to-occupy units, providing flexibility for companies seeking efficient and scalable industrial infrastructure.
The park is strategically positioned to serve a range of high-growth sectors including automotive, electronics, aerospace and defence, renewable energy, engineering and research and development. With the Bengaluru–Hosur belt emerging as a key manufacturing hub, the project is expected to strengthen supply chain efficiency while supporting the expansion plans of both domestic and international manufacturers.
The groundbreaking ceremony brought together representatives from government bodies, industry stakeholders and local authorities. The event highlighted the growing role of public-private collaboration in accelerating industrial development and improving infrastructure capacity across India’s manufacturing clusters.
Hosur has gained increasing prominence as an industrial destination due to its proximity to Bengaluru, strong connectivity through national highways and access to skilled talent pools. The region has witnessed significant investment from global manufacturing companies in recent years, particularly in sectors such as electronics, electric mobility and advanced engineering.
ESR Group’s investment further reinforces the industrial potential of this corridor. By developing modern manufacturing parks equipped with high-quality infrastructure, the company aims to create facilities that support efficient production, logistics and supply chain integration.
As India continues to position itself as a global manufacturing destination, projects like the ESR Hosur Advanced Manufacturing Park are expected to play a critical role in strengthening industrial ecosystems, boosting job creation and supporting long-term economic development in the region.
