TVS Infrastructure Trust Expands Vizag Industrial and Logistics Park with ₹250-Crore Investment

TVS Infrastructure Trust has officially inaugurated the expanded phase of its flagship Tarkeshwar Industrial & Logistics Park in Visakhapatnam, marking a significant step forward for Andhra Pradesh’s rapidly evolving industrial and logistics landscape. The new phase, developed with an investment of approximately ₹250 crore, was virtually inaugurated by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at an event organised by the district administration at the APIIC Industrial Park in Peda Gantyada.

The 17-acre facility at Gurrampalem has been designed as a modern, Grade A industrial and logistics hub that caters to the increasing demand for high-quality warehousing and built-to-suit infrastructure in the region. Strategically positioned along the Anakapalle–Anandapuram Expressway (NH-16), the park offers direct access to Visakhapatnam Port, ensuring smooth multimodal connectivity for regional and national supply chains. This strategic connectivity is expected to attract a mix of domestic and global companies seeking reliable, scalable and compliant industrial infrastructure.

The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) played a key role in facilitating land allocation, streamlining approvals and ensuring timely execution of the project. The park is managed by TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), one of India’s leading developers of Grade A warehousing and industrial spaces.

During the inauguration, the Chief Minister reiterated the state’s vision of “One Family, One Entrepreneur”, emphasising the government’s commitment to enabling infrastructure-led economic growth. He highlighted the growing importance of Visakhapatnam as a logistics powerhouse, supported by port infrastructure, road connectivity and proximity to major manufacturing clusters.

Dr Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director of TVS ILP, noted that Andhra Pradesh’s strategic position makes it one of India’s most attractive destinations for industrial investments. He added that the new facility is built to meet the evolving needs of sectors such as automotive, FMCG, manufacturing and e-commerce.

The event was attended by senior ministers, MPs, MLAs and APIIC leadership, reflecting the state’s strong institutional support for logistics development. With over 1,000 job opportunities expected to be generated, the expanded park is set to contribute meaningfully to the region’s industrial growth.
