Interarch Building Solutions, one of India’s leading players in pre-engineered steel buildings, has broken ground on a new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Attivaram, Andhra Pradesh. With an investment of around Rs 100 crore, the facility is poised to enhance the company’s production capacity and strengthen its presence in the high-growth infrastructure and industrial sectors.

Spread across 20 acres with a built-up area of 17,000 square metres, the plant will add 25,000 metric tonnes of annual capacity in its first phase. The facility is designed to produce multi-storey pre-engineered steel structures catering to critical sectors such as data centres, electronics, semiconductors, and electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing. This positions Interarch to meet the rising demand for modern, sustainable, and climate-resilient construction solutions across India.

Equipped with advanced machinery sourced from both Europe and India, the plant is engineered to deliver efficient and sustainable production. By focusing on climate-resilient designs, the company aims to contribute to India’s green construction movement while supporting the growth of technology-intensive industries.

The project is also expected to create significant employment opportunities, generating over 200 direct and indirect jobs for the region. This will not only support local economic development but also build a skilled workforce in advanced steel construction.

Interarch has already made substantial investments at the Attivaram site. The company recently completed Phase 2 of its existing pre-engineered building plant with an additional Rs 32 crore investment. With the new project, the location is set to evolve into a fully integrated hub for pre-engineered building solutions.

Strategically located near major industrial corridors and ports, the plant will enable Interarch to efficiently serve customers across southern and western India. By expanding its manufacturing footprint, the company is reinforcing its leadership in steel construction and positioning itself to capitalize on the growing demand from fast-expanding sectors.
