The Telangana government has allocated 35 acres of land in the Gadwal Assembly constituency for various public infrastructure projects, which will help strengthen governance, make services better, and improve rural development.
The sanctioned land will be utilized for constructing essential facilities, such as an electricity substation for many mandals, warehouses for electrical equipment, godowns, a Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) building, and a paddy procurement centre. Plans are also underway for a study centre for Backward Class (BC) students to give more opportunities for educational betterment in the area.
The projects will include a District Women’s Federation building, DTO (District Transport Office), RTO (Regional Transport Office), and UO (Unit Office) complex under one roof, to provide a major boost to women’s empowerment and administrative efficiency. The Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI) will also be established to train and provide livelihood support for program beneficiaries in rural areas.
It is also proposed to add a new 33/11 KV substation to ensure power supply from this for the upcoming 100-bed government hospital.
The Gadwal MLA, Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, termed the decision a “transformational step” for the constituency. He thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and state ministers for considering the land allotment. The projects would certainly bring more than adequate changes to the lives of residents.
“Bhoomi Puja will be done soon, and we shall ensure construction starts without a waste of time,” Reddy said, stressing that the developments will improve infrastructure and generate local employment opportunities during and after construction.
By the overarching agenda of the state government, which aims to strengthen the facilities at an entire district level while also devolution of administrative circles and increased public access, the collocations of government offices, training centers, and public utilities into one planning zone are intended to reduce travel by citizens and enhance intergovernmental delivery of services.
Upon establishment, the Gadwal infrastructure cluster is set to spell out an integrated model that will position the state as an authority in the development of public joint facilities housing administrative, economic, and social services.
