Walplast, a leading manufacturer of construction material in India and the third-largest wall putty producer in the country, launched Homesure TileEx Cementitious Tile Grout, under the Homesure range. With this polymer-modified cement-based grout, the company intends to deliver a hard-wearing and attractive alternative for jointing tiles.
Designed to fill tile joints of up to 3 mm (1/8 inch), the grout is made for both commercial and residential spaces. It is fast set, low shrink, with good adhesion and easy to work with, which makes it a good choice for high-traffic areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, outdoors and even for commercial installations. The moisture-resistant functionality of TileEx provides a lasting effect against moisture ingress which is one of the main causes of the degradation of tiled surfaces.
The product is offered in an easy-to-use 1 kg pack and is available in 11 handpicked colours namely Cotton Wool, Gold Standard, Terracotta, Grey Matter, Raven Song, and the like. These hues allow architects, contractors and homeowners to complement or contrast grout lines depending on their aesthetic.
When you trust a grout, you trust it even on luxury floors and walls, and Walplast says they have a grout that is compatible with ceramic, vitrified and natural stone tiles, with a smooth and easy-to-apply formula that reduces on-site hassles. The product promises to make tile surfaces last longer and look better with minimal maintenance, as it does not produce dust and is easy to clean up.
On the launch, Kaushal Mehta, Managing Director, Walplast Products Pvt. Ltd, said, “At Walplast, we are passionate about providing innovative and high-performing solutions for the construction industry. The Homesure TileEx Grout meets the needs of contemporary infrastructure, offering unparalleled durability without sacrificing beauty.”
Highlighting the product’s duality, Aniruddha Sinha, Head of Marketing, said, “This grout provides strength for tile installations along with augmenting their aesthetics with a wide range of colours. It’s the ideal combination of function and design.”
The launch further solidifies Walplast’s Homesure portfolio comprising, wall putty, tile adhesives, construction chemicals, admixtures, gypsum-based products, textures, paints and more. Walplast is also further establishing itself as a byword in the construction industry, supported by an ambient network of more than 800 distributors, 6,000 dealers, and 65,000 influencers.
