Trump Towers will soon have the largest presence outside the U.S., with 10 luxury projects slated for India by 2030. Currently, India boasts four Trump Towers in Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, and Kolkata, but plans are underway to expand to Noida, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and more. These will include office spaces, golf courses, and villas.
Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers, Trump’s partner in India, anticipates significant growth following Donald Trump’s U.S. presidential victory. Mehta’s journey began 13-14 years ago when he met Donald Trump Jr. in New York, marking the start of a partnership that has led to a series of successful luxury developments.
Mehta, an MBA graduate from Wharton, recalls how President Trump advised focusing on quality over quantity. The first Trump Tower in Mumbai was launched in 2014, shortly after PM Modi’s election victory, and Trump has remained a strong advocate for India ever since.
The existing Trump Towers in India cover 30 lakh square feet, with residences priced between Rs 6 crore and Rs 25 crore. These four towers have a total sale value of Rs 7,500 crore. The upcoming six towers will span 80 lakh square feet and are expected to generate a combined sale value of Rs 15,000 crore. The expansion will include an office block in Pune, along with a golf course and villas in another city.
Mehta emphasizes the strong bond between India and the U.S., with both PM Modi and President Trump sharing mutual respect. The partnership is set to benefit not only the two countries but also the global luxury real estate market. Trump Towers continues to be the gold standard in super-luxury real estate.
