Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated a cutting-edge 21-storey Tidel Park in Pattabiram, near Avadi, Chennai. Built at a cost of ₹330 crore and spanning 5.57 lakh sq. ft., the facility is expected to house 6,000 IT and ITeS professionals, significantly boosting the IT sector in northern Tamil Nadu. This marks the third Tidel Park in the state, following successful ventures in Chennai and Coimbatore.

The establishment of this Tidel Park is a transformative step for real estate in northern Tamil Nadu, particularly around Pattabiram and Avadi. With its proximity to Chennai, this project is anticipated to trigger a surge in demand for residential and commercial properties. Real estate developers are likely to capitalize on the influx of IT professionals by introducing housing projects, co-living spaces, and modern amenities tailored for a growing urban workforce. Retail and hospitality sectors are also expected to see substantial growth as the area evolves into a thriving IT and business hub.

Equipped with features like ample parking, uninterrupted diesel generator power backup, a multi-cuisine food court, a modern auditorium, and a gymnasium, the Tidel Park makes the area an attractive destination for businesses and employees alike. This integrated infrastructure is set to redefine the region’s real estate dynamics, offering a live-work-play environment that aligns with modern urban development trends.

Chief Minister Stalin linked the project to the ‘Dravidian model of development,’ emphasizing equitable growth and extending economic opportunities to tier-II and tier-III cities. By integrating northern Tamil Nadu into the state’s IT ecosystem, the government is addressing regional disparities while fostering new avenues for real estate development in less urbanized areas.

As the demand for office spaces and supporting infrastructure grows, developers are expected to focus on creating sustainable projects to meet the needs of IT companies and their workforce. The Tidel Park is not just a boost to the IT sector but a major milestone in unlocking the real estate potential of northern Tamil Nadu, further solidifying Chennai’s influence as a tech and real estate powerhouse.
