Shri Keshav Cements and Infra, a Karnataka based cement manufacturer with a growing presence in the regional construction market, has completed its production capacity expansion, reaching one million tonne per annum. The company announced that commercial operations at the upgraded facility commenced on twenty nine November twenty twenty five, marking an important milestone in its long term growth plan.
The company stated that the enhanced capacity comes at a time when cement demand across Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra and nearby regions continues to show strong traction driven by infrastructure creation, housing development and private sector investment. With the expanded output now fully operational, Shri Keshav Cements and Infra expects to serve its key markets with improved supply efficiency while meeting the requirements of contractors, builders and industrial consumers.
Chairman Venkatesh Katwa noted that the successful completion of the expansion project places the company in a stronger position to address rising consumption patterns across the western and southern belts. He added that the new capacity will support consistent deliveries and help the company deepen its engagement with high growth markets where infrastructure spending remains robust.
In addition to its cement manufacturing operations, the company also operates a solar power generation portfolio of forty megawatts. Of this, fourteen megawatts is used internally to support the companys plant operations while the remaining power is supplied externally. This clean energy support system has enabled the company to reduce its dependence on conventional power sources and has aligned its operations with sustainability focused industry practices.
Industry analysts believe that the companys expansion is well timed since the cement sector is witnessing stable demand and steady project activity in both the government and private segments. With the upgraded capacity and a renewable power base to support operations, Shri Keshav Cements and Infra is positioned to play a stronger role in meeting the cement requirements of the region.
