Schwing Stetter to Set Up 5th Factory in Tiruvannamalai with the Investment of ₹600 Crore

Schwing Stetter, a well-known globally, German maker of concrete machinery, has revealed its plans for a fifth factory in Tamil Nadu, further strengthening the state’s position in India’s industrial sector. The facility to be built in Cheyyar Sipcot, Tiruvannamalai district, will be on a 52-acre plot with a built-up area of 2,47,000 square feet. This ambitious project, with a possible investment of around ₹600 crore, is destined to be a major milestone for the company’s expansion efforts in India.

The facility will generate jobs for around 1,000 people thereby improving the economic conditions of the region and augmenting the development in the area. Equipments will become an important milestone in this context for becoming poor in Tamil Nadu with an ostensible commitment by Schwing Stetter to promote growth in Tamil Nadu, according to the officials respective to this particular initiative which shall still further aid economic development in the region and strengthen the presence of Schwing in India.

Schwing Stetter now has four factories in Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram district, where concrete mixers, pumps, hydraulic machines, etc., are manufactured. This new facility at Cheyyar will work as a global manufacturing center, ramping up the production capabilities of the company to cope with the escalating demands of both domestic and international markets.

This facility will be equipped with cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices, which will stand as yet another benchmark for manufacturing excellence. Robust quality control norms will be implemented to ensure that Schwing Stetter continues to provide quality products essential to the growth of the construction and infrastructure sectors.
