Schwing Stetter to Set Up 5th Factory in Tiruvannamalai with the Investment of ₹600 Crore

Schwing Stetter, a well-known globally, German maker of concrete machinery, has revealed its plans for a fifth factory in Tamil Nadu, further strengthening the state’s position in India’s industrial sector. The facility to be built in Cheyyar Sipcot, Tiruvannamalai district, will be on a 52-acre plot with a built-up area of 2,47,000 square feet. This ambitious project, with a possible investment of around ₹600 crore, is destined to be a major milestone for the company’s expansion efforts in India.

The facility will generate jobs for around 1,000 people thereby improving the economic conditions of the region and augmenting the development in the area. Schwing Stetter now has four factories in Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram district, where concrete mixers, pumps, hydraulic machines, etc., are manufactured.
