SANY India has created a significant milestone in metro infrastructure by facilitating the completion of the piling phase of Phase 2A – Package 2 for Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) in a record time. The piling works carried out by Shankaranarayana Constructions (SNC) accumulated 2,523 piles in total and have been executed using only 8 SANY Piling rags.

The project is located right in the middle of a high-density IT corridor and entailed major logistical challenges of persistent traffic movement and confined work areas. Despite these challenges, SANY’s machines maintained zero downtime resulting in uninterrupted operations and an ahead-of-schedule delivery.

SANY’s high-performance piling rigs played an instrumental role in tackling the challenging and intricate geological conditions of the area. Those meaningful innovations and sophistication in operations not only expedited the processes but also enhanced the efficiency of piling in tough terrains.

“The efficiency, reliability and innovative engineering of SANY Piling Rigs have played an important role in enabling swift milestones for the projects,” said Sanjay Saxena, COO, of SANY India. “The technology-led approach of ours has always empowered such projects to run efficiently without disrupting the flow of urban infrastructure projects like BMRCL Phase 2.”

SANY India’s strong penetration in the field of innovation, stout machinery along with its potential to execute timely projects has consolidated its position as a vital source in the construction equipment industry. With the expansion of India’s metro networks happening on an unprecedented scale, the market is hungry for high-performance construction equipment putting SANY’s contribution at an all-time high.

The pile work of BMRCL was completed ahead of schedule due to cutting-edge equipment and flawless performance demonstrating how complex urban issues can be solved. This not only focuses on the growing significance of advanced technology in infrastructure but also marks the beginning of an age of quick, smart, and better metro construction across the nation.
